Getsuyobi no Tawawa

You know, it’s been a while since I last written about an anime. So here’s another one…

I came across this one on the free anime subs website by accidentally clicking on the series below the one I was intending to watch. The first 60 seconds of it seemed kind of stupid, but I kept watching, and one thing led to another, and dot dot dot

Nah, nothing exciting really happened. This is a 14 episodes series, 4 and a half minutes per episode. I finished everything in about an hour.

The title is called 月曜日のたわわ Getsuyobi no Tawawa. Getsuyobi means Monday, but I have no idea what Tawawa means. I don’t think it is a legit Japanese word. Probably some slang or something. Tawawa of Monday, whatever it means, heh…

This anime series is adapted from a bunch of short weekly manga strips. The author, Himura Kiseki released new materials every Sunday evening “to provide a positive motivation towards workers and students alike on Monday mornings”. In fact, here’s what the author had to say about his works.

Motivational, heh…

Come, I show you how motivational this series can be…

Example 2:

As you can see, this isn’t porn…

No, it’s true. Speculative, yes… but no tetek was involved, so it isn’t porn, right? Right?

Although I guess only guys will understand the “power” of this series. 🙄

P.S: I think Ta Wa Wa probably means Big Doink Doink… 🙄 🙄

P.P.S: I watched these on Wednesday over dinner, but I purposely delayed posting these until Sunday to keep up with the original author’s intentions. 🙄 🙄 🙄

  1. LOLOL! You are damn funny with tetek words and I cannot write like you. Needs to twist my brains a bit la. I didn’t know Tawawa got meaning as I thought it’s a name.

    I hate Mondays too!

    • It is not found in the Japanese dictionary, that is for sure. Probably urban dictionary if you know what I mean. 😀

    • Ngek ngek ngek!

In a few years time, Ethan will be watching on his friends’ iPads whether you like it or not. Get used to that idea. XD

  2. The author would be pleased that you stay true to his objective and post this on a Sunday instead of the time you watched all of it.

  3. Heh, short and snappy episodes so that when you watch them, you can either get back to work, get back to chores or get back to enjoying your time in the real world. And be productive after a bit of moderate relaxation 🙄
