1P100W #50 – Mou

This post will probably make no sense to most of you, my dear readers, since you don’t follow football. Feel free not to comment. In fact, I urge you not to comment if you are going to say things like “Don’t know football, don’t know what to comment“…

It is just that this is a particularly good week for my beloved Arsenal. We are joint top of the Premier League, and this self-proclaimed Special One just got into more trouble with the FA. I feel so “sorry” toΒ see his team in relegation form…

Godspeed, Mou… May you rue Eva for the rest of your life..

  1. Are you trying to taunt me? Whatever bad luck that has befallen Chelsea this season, Mour is still the best manager they ever have (or soon had). I feel bad for the guy with everything going against him and every decision going against Chelsea! :'( Yes, I agree he may not be very humble but that’s because he knows he’s good. If he leaves, the EPL will not be as exciting coz all the other managers there are pretty boring (esp. Wenger). Probably the only exception will be Klopp.

So, enjoy while you’re joint top…..coz it usually only lasts the first half of the season…..wakakaka! πŸ˜€ Though I know there’s no hope for Chelsea this season, in fact I’m not even sure if we’ll make it to the Champions League and I seriously don’t think any interim manager can take us out of this rut if Mour can’t!

    • I am trying to taunt feel sorry for all of Chelsea. If you so happen to be part of it, then sorry, bwahahahaha!! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

I think it is normal that Arsenal fans are particularly more pissed off with Mou and will celebrate his fall with gusto. After all, he seems to be unable to leave us alone in his battle against the media and the FA. Worse is they can play like sh*t against everyone else but will definitely raise their game to beat us, same like Fergie era Man Utd. Darn! But to be honest, I am really shocked with Chelsea this season. You have basically the same team that were champions last season, but all of a sudden you are relegation candidates based on current table. Still, it is just 11 points between Chelsea and the top of the table, plenty of time to catch up and I won’t be surprised to see you guys near the top come May.

I know. I hate but I do admit, Arsenal under Wenger the past 10 years is always a team of one half. Either start strongly then self implode, or start poorly and narrowly nick top four. Sigh… πŸ™

  2. I wish I could attach a photo here. I have a similar photo from a British brunch I attended on the weekend – posing with cardboard cutouts of a number of football stars.

    • Oh this isn’t a cardboard cutout. This is a wax figure. I took this in Madame Tussaud’s London! πŸ˜€

  3. Wont comment “not interested in football, but still wana make a comment here”, but I will comment “Mou reminds me of my MIL’s shihtzu, his name is Mou-Mou”.. Ok, bye!

  4. I only watch World Cup and usually watch finals only.

Last time one of my females colleagues commented β€œso silly, football is like watching a bunch of guys chasing after a ball”…

Chelsea, Arsenal, Livepool, Manchester United, all the big boys…

    • Same like we always commented about ladies “so silly, paying few thousand $$ for an ugly handbag just because of the logo” πŸ™„

  5. Wah, you can see the future. You know that one day you will have the opportunity to show your finger at him so you took this photo way back then so that now you can show your finger at him. I remember when I was working in UK and my co workers asked me which football team I support and I simply answer Chelsea without even knowing anything about them. LOL!

    • I don’t need to see the future to give the Special One the finger. I give it to him all the time! πŸ˜€

I used to like Chelsea before they got their sugar daddy. I have great respect for players like Zola, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Marcel Desailly.

  6. Well done to Arsenal for doing so well so far this season. Though I’m a Liverpool fan, I thoroughly approve. Never been a big fan of Mou and gang πŸ˜€ Still a long season to go, though πŸ˜€

    • You, a Liverpool fan? I didn’t know you guys follow English football in Down Under! Liverpool just got Klopp as their new manager, I guess things will be exciting for you guys now.. πŸ˜€

      • I’ve been a Liverpool fan since I was ten years old. Don’t have time to watch the matches but I do keep up with what’s going on in the EPL and English football each weekend. Not many Australians follow it…actually, I don’t know anyone else here who follows it. Those who I know follow it have all moved away, and they all were Asian πŸ˜€

I feel Liverpool have been through too many managers in recent years. Always struggling to find momentum but yes, exciting times ahead nonetheless πŸ˜€

        • I think it is those American owners that did the damage more than anything else, to be honest. Newcastle and Aston Villa are suffering the same problems. The owners came in without knowing what they are getting into and made a mess of things. Hopefully with Klopp’s appointment it signifies that Liverpool’s owners at least are coming to terms with what to expect.
