Freebie Giveaway

I don’t think I have very many active followers on my blog, so I am not sure how this will turnout. Still, I am going to do this anyway. Ladies and gentlemen, I am doing my very first freebie giveaway. Yay!

To take part, all you need to do is answer one simple question. Leave the answer in the comment section of this post.

Keystone 2

How much did I pay for the toy phone as shown in picture above?

Don’t bother checking back on the previous post, I did not post any price in there. I’ll give you a few hints.

  1. I bought this using Malaysian Ringgit, RM. Dooh..
  2. The original price on display was RM 55, but I got a discount, so it is definitely not more expensive than RM 54.
  3. I paid by cash, and there was no coin involved in the transaction. Meaning the price is in ringgit, without any cents.
  4. It is cheap enough that I did not need a receipt when the salesgirl asked me. This means I have no proof of the price and you will just have to trust me for it.

The prize is something that is bigger in size than my toy phone. I am not joking. Let me show you.

DSCN2030 (1024x768)

I am giving away a Xiaomi 5200mAh Power Bank! I am obviously not giving the phone away.

I think there should be many people who want this, no? They are perpetually sold out within a few hours every time they release new stocks for purchase. If you want this power bank, you can try to win it here.

I have to admit, I did not intentionally buy this for the reason of doing this giveaway. For some strange reason, I somehow bought two of these,

DSCN2032 (1024x768)

And then realized that I actually only need one. I can hardly lug a smartphone plus two power banks in my pocket all the time, can I? And I am not interested to place it for sale on eBay or Mudah. Might as well do something meaningful with the extra and see if any of my readers want it.

First and foremost, the person with the right answer wins.

If there is no right answer, then the person with the closest answer wins.

In the event of a tie, I do not want to impose something like the person who answered first wins because that is hardly fair for different readers who visit this blog at different time in the day. So, I have a secondary question.

How much did I pay for both the power banks?
Hint: the question is not “What is the selling price for both the power banks?”

In the event of a tie, the person with the closest answer to my secondary question wins. So, in your comment, please answer both questions. You are allowed to top up a second comment if you missed it in the first comment, but by the closing date you need to have both answers. Otherwise you will be disqualified.

Take note that this is a primary question-secondary question basis. If you get the secondary answer right but primary answer wrong and someone else got the primary answer closest, the prize goes to that someone else.

In the event that there is a second tie, well… I haven’t thought about it yet. We’ll get to that if and when that happens…

One person can only answer once. Of course, you can ask your friends to come and make one set of answers each as well. If you have 53 friends to leave 53 sets of answers on top of yours, your chance of winning is maximized.

Everyone is eligible. You don’t have to be Malaysian, if you are from Brazil or Tokyo or San Francisco, I will have the prize shipped to you for free too, if you win. Although I think if you are in those countries, I guess you are probably not interested with this cheap thing.

I am posting this at exactly 5.00PM (GMT+8) on 28th October 2014. I will let this event run for a week. Make sure you comment with your answers before 5.00PM (GMT+8) on 4th November 2014. The winner will be announced on a separate blog post on 5th November 2014, and I will email you for your shipping details separately so please provide a valid email address in your comment.

If you really want this power bank, do take part. If you don’t really want it, do take part too, you can give it to someone else after you win. There is not very many people active on my blog, so your chance of winning is big. In fact I reckon the chances of winning this power bank here is bigger than successfully buying it on Xiaomi’s official website.

Okay, I guess that’s it. 😉
