Future Europe Travel Plans

I have been spending the weekend going through the blog posts, specifically the travel ones. As I go though the UK and Europe posts, I came to a realization: I have a lot of unfinished business in Europe! It was kind of unavoidable, back then I was a poor student, there were many things that I wanted to do but could not because I simply did not have the funds.

So, forget every other places. I am going to make a promise to myself, if and when I do pack up and go on a long trip, the first things that I will do will be these, in an un-chronological order:

  • Rent a car in England and go on an epic road trip. Something like this:

  • Watch an English Premier League or UEFA Champions League match in The Emirates Stadium.
  • Take the Big One in Blackpool.
  • Go on top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
  • Go on a chocolate eating spree in Brussels.
  • Get drunk with German beer in Munich.
  • Enter the Colosseum in Rome.
  • Buy a Prada for a nice girl in Milan.
  • Catch a race in Monaco.
  • Drive a Ferrari along the French Riviera.
  • Visit Barcelona.
  • Visit Prague and Vienna.
  • Visit Denmark and the Scandinavian region.
  • Visit Istanbul.

I wonder if these things can be done on a budget. But it’s nice to dream big and aim high, no?

  1. I love what you intend to do when given an opportunity to go Europe again, especially the #7! 🙂 Hope what you wish for comes true soon! I haven’t been to Europe side, I would like to go one day… not the touch and go type of trip, but spending a week here.. a week there.. and so on.. hahahaa.. I dream a lot, that is for sure!

    • You mean #8 the Prada thing? 😉 Europe is a very laid back place in my opinion, a touch and go tour is really not a good way to experience it.

    • I was rather hoping not, because that would not be cost effective, would have to buy a lot of return flight tickets..

    • Well, that girl is as yet, still an unknown. I was thinking (dreaming I mean) more like, I go there, find a pretty girl, then ask her: “I’ll buy you a Prada, will you be my girlfriend?”. Maybe make a video of it and post it on Youtube and see if it goes viral.

  2. Yes, I believe it can be done on a budget. You just need to do a lot of research online on budget hostels, discount cards, rail passes and etc. But will you be travelling alone?

    • LOL I don’t know. I’m just on daydreaming stage at the moment, got some loose ends that need to tie up before even planning. But probably yes, because I will either remain single and travel alone, or get a girlfriend who will want me to buy a house, get married, have kids and forget about my dream.
